"Very modern hotel an reasonable cost"
Stayed for 3 nights. Check in was quick and easy. Very nice staff on reception who knew the area well. I thought the hotel might be a bit isolated but I was very wrong! There are lots of bars and restaurants near by. Cafe Milo was our favorite which is just on the corner up from the hotel. Access to tram into centre is right outside the hotel and costs only 2.90 euro. I didn't try the bar or restaurant in the hotel so can't comments on that. There is an ATM just a few minutes walk, left out of hotel inside a supermarket. Only gripe was that the tv didn't work even after manager trying to fix it. Were offered another room but didn't bother. Listened to music instead which was a nice change. Would definately go back to the Hampshire Manor again.

"Lovely hotel in a great location"
Went for a 3 night stay in Amsterdam with my partner and chose to stay at the Manor Hotel, due to previous glowing reviews and great location in Amsterdam. All staff we met were very kind and friendly and always happy to help with any questions we had about the city. Make sure you get any discount vouchers for the museums and attractions from the hotel lobby as these saved a few Euros! On arrival we were told we had been upgraded for no extra charge which was amazing, rooms were so spacious; bed was so comfy and bathroom and all amenities were great for us. Breakfast lovely, would recommend booking your holiday with breakfast included. Tram ride takes about 15 minutes to get into Dam Square and prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here!

"Pleasant stay"
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. From the airport we took the train. We eventually found our way to Muiderpoort Station, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It all took far longer than we planned (tip: just get the train to Amsterdam Central and the number 9 tram to the hotel). On check in we were upgraded which is always nice. There were balloons in the room (for my birthday) and voucher for a complementary drink. The feature wall is........well a feature. The room was very clean with everything you would expect. No milk or English tea though. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff were extremely helpful giving directions to town. Public transport is so easy to use, buy the passes. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night. The food was nice, but not overwhelming. We had 3 courses (one just pasta) with a bottle of wine and cost £80. I would put the food on par with the Italian chain restaurants in the U.K, so it was expensive. Amsterdam is a great place to visit with a fantastic range of attractions. Book your tickets in advance to avoid queues for the most popular.

"Lovely hotel and lovely staff"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights just after Valentine's Day and arrived at our room to find champagne on the dressing table and rose petals on the bed, which was a lovely touch. The hotel was also clean, modern and bright, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were some of the best hotel employees I've encountered and if I was to visit Amsterdam again, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

There are regular exhibitions in the 17th Century Huize Frankendael, each including a lecture and debate programme and, on occasion, concerts. Take a relaxed walk through Frankendael Park with its formal garden, landscaped garden, lawn for sunbathing and marsh. In the Tropenmuseum the special tales you hear and objects you see teach you something about daily life in other cultures. The Hermitage Amsterdam mounts impressive exhibitions from the Hermitage in Russia’s St. Petersburg. Learn about Jewish culture, religion and history at the Jewish Historic Museum.

The Pure Markt is held regularly in Park Frankendael. Here you can buy tasty food and drinks and there is theatre, music and a merry-go-round. The famous flea market at Waterlooplein is one the most authentic of Amsterdam’s attractions. You could spend hours looking for vintage clothing or bric-a-brac. Go to the lively multicultural Dappermarkt for fresh herring or döner kebab. The iconic flower market on the Singel in the centre of Amsterdam is where you can buy flowers, plants, bulbs and souvenirs.

Amsterdam, the city in which I live. A city that never sleeps, but also a city that allows you to be just on your own enjoying a great cup of coffee. I would love to show you "my" Amsterdam. I look forward to welcoming you at Hampshire Hotel - The Manor Amsterdam!
